Zonal Offices

ATE's Strategic Plan 2004-2009 states the vision to be the recognised and effective agent of advocacy on behalf of the majority of Tanzanian employers. This implies a need to increase the number of members significantly, and a way to do this is through the development of ATE's regional outreach in the form of zonal offices.

Arusha, Mbeye, Mwanza, and Dar es Salaam have been identified as prime areas for the establishment of zonal offices - with the Arusha office as the first together with Dar es Salaam.

The selection of Arusha is based on the location of many potential new members representing a wide range of branches, and the presence of national, regional, and international organisations with whom ATE will interact
